The writing in this book is really bad.I don't usually review but I feel very ripped off for having bought this book so I want to warn other readers. This could be a good story, but it lacks any editing and is under developed. The book is rendered almost unreadable and makes no sense in parts.
We have on one page-
‘My sister June has on a navy blue dress, the same length as mine. The outer shell is a lace material. Her long brown hair is tied back in a straight pony tail. December is wearing a dress similar to mine, only hers has one long sleeve, and her long dirty-blonde hair is down each side of her breasts.’
The next page after we have heard exactly what the other sisters May and December are wearing …
‘June smiles looking at me instead of wearing a dress she has on a black strapless romper with a chunky gold necklace that somehow accentuates her cleavage the bottom of the romper flares out at the ankle showing off a pair of gold heels I may have to steel from her. Her hair is short but the cut stylish, which fits her almond, shaped face perfectly.’
Not only is June apparently wearing two completely different outfits and has two different haircuts in the space of a page, but we have the complete lack of punctuation which renders the writing indecipherable. ‘Steel’ and also please could someone tell me what an ‘almond, shaped face’ is? It sounds odd.
This would be fine if it was free fanfiction. But if you are charging $3.99 for your book, then hire an editor or don’t release it. I don't want to author bash, but I also do not think authors should get away with publishing such substandard writing.
There are a myriad of spelling and grammar mistakes and typos, there are a number of plot points that get mentioned and then just never mentioned again- Max the dog from the beginning of the book, and then never mentioned again- we hear about Capone and Juice and NEVER about Max. June being married to 'sequel bait' if you found out your little sister had gotten secretly married and divorced, um, would you immediately forget about it and never mention it again? I flicked through Until November and saw July was born and her name was July Heaven Mayson .... when Wes proposes to her she is July Abigail. I picked that up in about three seconds. How did editors and betas not see these things?
There is the fact that we've jumped like 25 years into the future. I was able to deal with that okay except for things like they go and see Fifty Shades of Grey, 25 years ago her aunt was excited about Jamie Dornan being cast :/
I understand that self publishing is a thing and I love that people are writing. But if you are going to ask people to pay money for your book, edit it properly and make sure it is appropriate and ready for release. To do otherwise is so disrespectful to your readers. And that's why I'm calling it out.
On the positive, it was a quick read and readable ... I feel like there is potential there but in the rush to publish this book is in no way ready to be put on the market for people to pay money for.

Until July Until Her Book 1 edition by Aurora Rose Reynolds Kayla Robichiux Romance eBooks Reviews
I'm actually disappointed to say I liked it but didn't love it. I expected to love it. Be cause I love ARR books. I love those Mayson boys. And I just knew I would love the girls. There wasn't a lot of depth in it. It was a quick instant love which I love but parts of it made me say "really?". It was too fast. Everything happened too fast. One part had me like so confused. You'll know when you get there. Overall it was just okay for me. Which makes me sad because I wanted to love it.
I am extremely disappointed in this book. The inconsistencies of the book from her previous series are extremely obvious. How is that In a previous book they were mentioning Fifty shades coming to the movie and 25 years later in this spin off book July is going to see the movie in the theaters. Also her middle name changes from Utility November.
The writing was extremely poor and confusing majority of the time.
I did not believe the bond that these 2 characters supposedly share. I understand the author was trying to make Wes a bad ass Alpha hero, like July's father and uncles. Unfortunately he came off like a insensitive dick. Honestly I was more interested in the love story of her best friend and Z.
I really loved her Until series, which was written and edited well. Why would you choose to not reread or edit this book? The supposed start to a new series...
DNF at 7%.
While I know what I'm getting into with books that are generally like this, this one was SO RIDICULOUS that I couldn't bring myself to continue. Male MC meets female MC for the second time ever, and they've spoken a grand total of probably about 50 words to each other, and after she says something very normal and not-at-all-sexual that she says, his response is
"Three times you've made me want to f*** you or fill that smart mouth of yours."
He is LITERALLY A STRANGER saying this to her.
What the f***? If a total stranger said that to me at my place of employment, which is where this conversation occurred, I would demand he get the f*** out of my work immediately. I don't care if you look like Brad Pitt. Even if Brad Pitt said that to me I think my response would be, "I'm sorry, but I'm not a c** bucket."
I assume more stupidity will ensue, so I'm passing on reading any more.
